Regular inspection and testing to keep your turbines operating

To ensure your wind turbine is ready and fit for purpose it needs to go through a variety of regulatory and best practice inspection and testing processes. RTS engineers, vastly experienced in the installation and commissioning of wind turbines, are able to provide a reliable, robust and impartial service prior to your wind turbine being connected to the grid and on an ongoing basis to ensure that equipment continues to meet changes in legislation.

Owners of wind turbines are responsible for the safe use and maintenenace of the equipment. As such, statutory examinations and safety inspections must be carried out in a timely manner. These should all be clearly documented with regular reporting of the inspection findings. All lifting equipment around the wind turbine needs to have regular risk assessments carried out to ensure compliance with The Lifting and Lift Equipment Regulations (L.O.L.E.R) and Working at Height Regulations. Failure to correctly maintain wind turbines can result in prosecution.
